Paulding resident hits big in lottery

A Paulding resident said he had no reason why he was drawn to pick the Hit $500 ticket, but was glad he did. Christopher Suffel won $300,000. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, Suffel will receive $213,000, according to information from the Ohio Lottery Commission. Suffel has been playing lottery for 15 years and he’s won, but never this big.
