Paulding Robbery Investigation Ongoing

The Pauld­ing County Sheriff’s Office con­tin­ues to inves­ti­gate an armed rob­bery that occured last week at Gen­Fed Credit Union.

It hap­pened just before 9 Wednes­day morn­ing, and involved at least two sus­pects accord­ing to inves­ti­ga­tors.

One of the sus­pects pulled a gun dur­ing the holdup. Police say the two got away with some cash, but nobody was hurt.

Inves­ti­ga­tors turned up a stolen Buick Park Avenue in River­side Park in Antwerp that they say had evi­dence from the rob­bery inside it. Sur­veil­lance footage shows the two get­ting away in a gray-colored Chevy Impala. Now, inves­ti­ga­tors say they think both vehi­cles were stolen from Fort Wayne.
