Paulding Village is under a boil advisory after five water main breaks on Monday.

Breaks occurred on lines ranging from 12 inches to 4 inches in diameter.

That caused an “air hammer” to go through the system. That air hammer in turn, caused the various main breaks throughout the village.

Crews are expecting to have all the breaks fixed by today, however, the boil advisory will remain in effect for several days.

The boil advisory means you should boil water for three minutes before using it until the alert is lifted.
