PAULDING WATER BREAKS

Pauld­ing Vil­lage is under a boil advi­sory after five water main breaks on Mon­day.

Breaks occurred on lines rang­ing from 12 inches to 4 inches in diam­e­ter.

That caused an “air ham­mer” to go through the sys­tem. That air ham­mer in turn, caused the var­i­ous main breaks through­out the vil­lage.

Crews are expect­ing to have all the breaks fixed by today, how­ever, the boil advi­sory will remain in effect for sev­eral days.

The boil advi­sory means you should boil water for three min­utes before using it until the alert is lifted.
