An accident involving a pedestrian and a train occurred early Sunday morning in Defiance. It was just after 1am yesterday, when the call came in about the mishap at the railroad crossing on Ottawa Avenue. So far, the victim has not been identified. We do know however, that the pedestrian was taken to Mercy Defiance Hospital, but no word on exactly just how serious the injuries are. Defiance Police are continuing the investigation today in an effort to figure out just what happened, and just how it happened.
