Peppler Case Continued

A pre-trial con­fer­ence for 49-year-old Jef­frey Pep­pler of Angola, the man charged with the Jan­u­ary 3rd stab­bing death of his sis­ter and the attempted mur­der of his mother, was con­tin­ued on Mon­day in Steuben Supe­rior Court. The next court date is now June 19th. Pep­pler is sched­uled to go on trial August 25th. He was orig­i­nally sched­uled to go on trial in March but the trial was delayed so that men­tal eval­u­a­tions could be fin­ished. Mean­while, Pep­pler is being held behind bars with­out bond.
