Perrysburg Schools are eyeing a new emergency levy as the district faces mounting financial pressure and limited state funding. The emergency levy could bring in $11 million annually over the next five years. The school board approved a proposal of 7.84-mill tax levy Monday night, following intense debate over how much to ask from voters and for how long. The decision comes after more than $6 million in budget cuts and a failed replacement levy in November.
