Phyllis A. Sleesman, 78

Phyllis A. Sleesman, age 78, of Coldwater, passed away at 2:02 P.M. on Friday, December 2, 2016, at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater where she was a resident. Mrs. Sleesman was a graduate of Bryan High School and was a longtime resident of Bryan. She was a devoted wife and mother, enjoyed ceramics and gardening in her flower gardens.

Phyllis A. Sleesman was born on November 3, 1938, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Maynard Fay and Cathryn (Stoner) Gonter. She married Herbert I.M. Sleesman on July 26, 1957, in Pulaski, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2006.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Barry) Rinard, of Quincy, Michigan, and Jackie Henley, of Coldwater; two sons, Herbert Sleesman II, of Camden, Michigan and David Sleesman, of Quincy, Michigan; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sandra Ingersoll; and one brother, Harvey Gonter.

Service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016, at 3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Visitation will be held for two hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Farmer Cemetery.

Memorial are requested to charity of the donor’s choice.
