NN Metal Stampings Inc. of Pioneer has been cited for multiple safety violations by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. OSHA initiated an investigation in August after receiving a complaint of unsafe working conditions at the facility, which stamps metal parts for the automotive and appliance industry. The company, on Maple St. in Pioneer, was cited for nine “serious” and two “other-than-serious” safety violations, with proposed penalties totaling $77,322, according to Rhonda Burke, an OSHA spokesperson in the Chicago regional office.
