Pioneer Fire Chief, Denny Fackler announces he will be retiring from his position on Dec. 31, after 42 years with the department and 25 years as chief. Rodger Swank, assistant fire chief, will take over for Fackler. The move will be made official at Pioneer’s next council meeting.
