A street project in Pioneer that was started in March is virtually complete, according to Mayor Ed Kidston. New street paving, storm drains, a new 12″ water line, plus new curbs and sidewalks are in along First Street from Elm Street west to the edge of town. Kidston says he thinks residents will be happy with the project. The project cost $1 million, and funding came mostly from grants.
