The fight over a private drive in Pioneer is over as a judge ruled in favor of the village to make the TW Parkway, a former private drive owned by Norman Thorp, a village road by eminent domain.
The village has been separated by the private drive and the owners have fought to keep it that way. Pioneer’s Mayor Ed Kidston made it a goal to get this done and now the town can begin the process of rebuilding the road. The owners were paid $73,650 for the property and the road was acquired this spring.
