PLANS BEING MADE TO MOVE COUNTY OFFICES

Williams County wants to occupy the East Annex build­ing by the end of 2013, but the move won’t be all that easy.

The actual move, accord­ing to county offi­cials who spoke with the Bryan Times, could take sev­eral days. County offi­cials said they are con­sid­er­ing the use of a com­mand vehi­cle dur­ing the tran­si­tion to con­tinue the use of 911, radio com­mu­ni­ca­tion and pag­ing. It was also sug­gested that the county tem­porar­ily rout 911 calls to Bryan’s city dis­patch to be sure noth­ing gets missed dur­ing the move.
