Police Want Hephner

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office wants the public’s help in locating a wanted non-compliant registered sex offender. An arrest warrant was issued by the Steuben County Superior Court, charging 26 year old Mitchell Hephner with 2 counts of failing to register as a sex or violent offender. He is also charged with 1 count of a level 5 felony failure to register as a sex or violent offender with a prior conviction. Hephner is white…6-1…165. He has short brown hair, brown eyes, and a goatee type mustache. Hephner also has several tattoos on his neck and throat area as well as his left arm and hand.
