Police warn of impersonators in Ft. Wayne

The Montpelier Police Chief is warning drivers that a two white males have made three traffic stops in Fort Wayne, impersonating law enforcement in an unmarked car. They were “clean cut and preppy” and one witness said they appeared intoxicated and identified themselves as CIA. During one incident, the men claimed to be cops and ordered a woman out of her car and onto the ground or she would be shot. Chief Dan McGee says you have the right to ask for identification, and looked for marked cars with overhead lights.
