Popular Radio Personality Passes

An area radio legend passes away. WOWO radio announced Fort Wayne morning radio host, Charly Butcher died on Wednesday. Butcher had been on the air, locally for more than 30 years. He worked on both WOWO and WMEE. Station officials say his death is likely due to a cardiac event. Several area lawmakers have expressed their condolences. Butcher was 61.
