Portman on Trump

Ohio Senator Rob Portman has thrown his support behind John Kasich, who took last night’s Republican debate seriously and laid out his ideas for improving the country. Meanwhile, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz spent time throwing insults at each other. Portman is denouncing Trump’s response about the KKK, saying to hesitate to disavow the group is wrong. Portman would not directly answer the question about whether he would support Trump if the billionaire becomes the nominee. Portman says Kasich should win Ohio and Michigan could really help his campaign succeed.
