If a Senate repeal-only health care bill comes to the floor in the coming days, Sen. Rob Portman says he’s not likely to vote for it. During the press conference call, Portman reiterated many of the points he has made throughout the debate on Republican plans to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. He pointed out that 19 counties in Ohio are without an insurance company and 27 others have just one insurer. Additionally, insurance providers are voicing concerns about certainty in the market, and that high deductibles and high premiums were hurting Ohio families.
