Power Knocked Out To Thousands

In northeast Indiana, efforts continue to restore power to areas affected by Sunday’s severe storms. Indiana Michigan Power returned electrical service to over 93 percent of its customers who lost power. The utility returned service to more than 5,500 customers in hard-hit Delaware County…1,800 are still without power, there. 100 are still without electricity in Jay County and 300 customers are still in the dark in Blackford County. More than 30,000 total customers lost service Sunday, after four tornadoes touched down in the region. All power is expected to be on by the end of the day.
