PTO treasurer charged with theft

A woman is charged with stealing $18,000 from the PTO she served as treasurer. 36-year-0ld Genevieve Meyer is charged after a four month investigation into the missing money from Heritage Elementary Schools Parent Teacher Organization. The East Allen County Schools sent out a letter with the announcement and explained that the money taken was not school or district funds, but locally raised dollars.
