Quadco Meets

A plan that details how Ohio will ensure that people with disabilities receive integrated services has been submitted to federal authorities according to Quadco. The state transition plan was sent to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services this month. Just as the state has been working on this process, so has Quadco, according to a release from the organization that we received on Wednesday. As a part of the on-going research, Quadco officials participated in the first of a four-part webinar series on a transformation project hosted by Ohio Employment First and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. The program was titled “Meaningful Integrated Day” and it detailed the transition of people from a developmental center to community employment in the mid 1990’s. March is designated as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. The next regular meeting of the board will be on April 28 in the Stryker building conference room.
