Railroad Crossing Improvements Planned

The state Pub­lic Util­i­ties Com­mis­sion has approved three local highway-rail grade cross­ing projects in our area. The Michi­gan South­ern Rail­road will upgrade the cir­cuitry at grade cross­ings at Fifth and David­son streets in the city of Defi­ance, and at U.S. 127 in Cecil and Main Street at Ohio 49 in Antwerp in Pauld­ing County. The Antwerp cross­ing will also include an upgrade of flash­ing lights.
