A web site called Livability.com wanted to find the places in Amer­ica where the pop­u­la­tion is mostly cen­trists polit­i­cally; not lean­ing either to the left or to the right, but smack dab in the mid­dle. And com­ing in at9th in the coun­try for cen­trism is Ore­gon, Ohio. The study shows Ore­gon has elected rep­re­sen­ta­tives from all par­ties. The Mayor is an inde­pen­dent. The study also tried to char­ac­ter­ize cen­trists and find out what is com­mon among them. They say cen­trists are more likely to drive a Buick or Cadil­lac, eat at Chik-fil-A, shop at Amer­i­can Eagle Out­fit­ters, read Good House­keep­ing mag­a­zine and watch Two and a Half Men.
