Record Livestock Prices at Fulton County Fair

Record prices were paid this year at the Ful­ton County Fair at the junior fair live­stock sale. This is where buy­ers typ­i­cal pay well over mar­ket value as a dona­tion to the pro­gram and an incen­tive for the kids to con­tinue with rais­ing live­stock. Com­bined total sales for live­stock were 240 thou­sand dol­lars. If the ani­mals were sold at mar­ket value they would have brought 106 thousand.
