Richard Ames, 63

Richard Wayne Ames, 63 years, of Napoleon, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 in the emergency room of Henry County Hospital, Napoleon.  Richard was a long time resident of Filling Home of Mercy in Napoleon.  Richard was born May 17, 1950 in Defiance, Ohio, the son of the late Howard William and Mabel (McConeghy) Ames.  Richard was a sorter at Quadco for many years.  He had a zest for life and loved music and dancing.  He would be called ornery by many people.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sister, Linda (William) Wallace of Pittsford, New York as well as two nephews and four nieces.

Graveside funeral services were held in Shiffler Cemetery, where he was laid to rest beside his parents.  Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home-Greenisen Chapel, 225 East High Street, Bryan, Ohio
