“Riot” subject sentenced

A man who participated in a large fight in Bronson Park last September was convicted of aggravated riot and permitting drug abuse. 26-year-old Dequavis Farris was sentenced to 28 months and ordered to pay $200 restitution. The drug case was separate from the fight in the Defiance park. He allowed his vehicle to be used for the sale of narcotics to a confidential informant in Defiance on June 23.
