Ronald L. Peabody, age 76, of Swanton and formerly of Delta passed away Sunday June 22, 2014 at the Advanced Specialty Hospital in Toledo. Mr. Peabody was employed by IAC in Wauseon.
Mr. Peabody was born on November 9, 1937 in Pike Twp., Fulton County, Ohio the son of the late Nelson and the late Goldie (Bressler) Peabody. On December 29, 1957 he married the former Helen Lester and she survives. He enjoyed old tractors and also enjoyed attending the National Threshers Convention.
Surviving besides his wife Helen are children; Jeff (Kelly) Peabody of Saint Augustine, TX, Eddie (Lisa) Peabody of Defiance, OH, Lynn (Jeff) Knapp of Swanton and Eric Peabody of Swanton. Also surviving are 5 grandsons and 4 grand-daughters, sisters Carol (Darryl) Hildreth of Delta, Irene of Florida and brother Duane Peabody of Florida.
