Rose Wongroski, 64

Rosemary “Rose” Wongroski, age 64, of Delta passed away early Wednesday November 18, 2015 at the Defiance Area Inpatient Care Center near Defiance. Prior to her retirement she had been a Teacher’s Aide specializing in mentally and physically handicapped children.

Rose was born on September 25, 1951 the daughter of the late Casmier and the late Virginia (Drewno) Kasprzak. On February 21, 1975 she married Paul Wongroski and he survives. She was an active member of the St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon where she enjoyed working in the shrine, quilting with the ladies, and serving K of C breakfasts. She also enjoyed square dancing, camping and volunteering with Hands of Grace.

Surviving besides her husband, Paul are children; Jeanette (Brian) Yacucci of Cincinnati, Rebecca Wongroski of Bryan, Daniel Wongroski of Wauseon, grandson Jacob Yacucci and siblings; Michael Kasprzak of Toeldo and Christine Schlagheck of Ottawa Lake, MI.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00am Monday November 23, 2015 at the St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon with Father David Bruning officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 9:30am until the time of the Mass at 11:00am. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to either the Hands of Grace or the St. Caspar Shrine. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com.
