Sandra Stahl, 72

Sandra S. Stahl, 72 years, of Alvordton, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at her home with her family at her side.  Sandra was born May 18, 1943 in Hicksville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Anna (Fortney) Byroade.  She was a 1961 graduate of Hicksville High School.  She then received her Associates Degree from Northwest State Community College.  She married Paul Dale Stahl on November24, 1967 in Bryan, Ohio and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1991.  Sandra was a supervisor at The Barn Restaurant in Archbold for the past 18 years.  She also was the bookkeeper for Rod Kuntz Quality Builders from 1992 until the present.

Surviving is her daughter, Maria (Andy Pawlowicz) Stahl of Montpelier; two grandchildren, Sarah Stahl of Montpelier and Justin Peters of Pioneer; one great-granddaughter, Sophia Peters of Pioneer; three half-brothers, Dale “Butch” (Kristine) Paxton of Kendallville, Indiana, Dennis (Cindy) Paxton of Bryan and DuWayne (Tresa) Paxton of Kendallville, Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dale M. Paxton.

To honor Sandra’s wishes, there will be no visitation and private interment was made in Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity.  Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity.
