Scam Alert

The Ohio Department of Health warns of a phone scam. Callers, posing as health department staff, ask for personal information that the department would never seek over the phone. The scammers can even make it look like they are calling from a credible phone number. Most legitimate places would never ask you for financial info or your social in any case. The solution is simple…do not give out any information over the phone and hang up.
