Three local school districts get state grants for security on Tuesday. Edgerton, Millcreek-West Unity and North Central were three of the 1,183 schools in 81 counties that received a total of $47 million dollars in grant funding…as part of the Ohio K-12 School Safety Grant Program. Gov., DeWine announced the grants during the Ohio School Safety Summit in Columbus. Millcreek-West Unity Local School District received $90,549.16 split between the high and elementary schools. Edgerton Local School District got $99,318 in the grant divided evenly between the elementary and high schools. Meanwhile, North Central Local School District received $50,000 for the elementary school.
