Semi Crash Under Investigation

A crash involv­ing two semis on U.S. 24 in Pauld­ing County on Wednes­day, is still under inves­ti­ga­tion by the Ohio State High­way Patrol. 42 year old Daniel Guy Jr of Toledo, one of the dri­vers, was taken to Fort Wayne by air ambu­lance where he is being treated for crit­i­cal injuries. Troop­ers say Guy was west­bound and hit the rear of a slower-moving semi dri­ven by 26 year old Mau­rice Waller Jr of Philadel­phia, Pa. Guy’s truck cab became sep­a­rated from the frame, trap­ping him in the driver’s seat. Waller was not injured in the crash. Troop­ers reported that both dri­vers were wear­ing safety belts.
