Following an alleged fraud scheme involving the company’s top executives, Seneca and Wood Counties will see the closure of First Brands Group’s auto parts facilities later this year, resulting in the loss of over 700 jobs. In September 2025, the formerly multibillion dollar firm filed for bankruptcy. The layoffs were announced by First Brands via WARN Notices on Friday morning.
