Senior center gets $35k donation

The Mont­pe­lier Senior Cen­ter just received a $35,000 dona­tion from the estate of Jim Treer. He was a well-liked vis­i­tor to the cen­ter and a retired employee of Hutch’s Tow­ing and Recov­ery. He passed away on Octo­ber 29 at the age of 72. The dona­tion will go to the main­te­nance fund. The cen­ter is look­ing at upgrad­ing their kitchen with new equip­ment and mak­ing some struc­tural repairs.
