Serious Crash In Garrett

Two people are hurt after the pickup truck they were in is struck by a train on County Road 19, near the intersection with County Road 48, near Garrett. The driver tried to cross the tracks when it was struck, pushing the vehicle about a quarter-mile from the crossing. Another train sitting on a siding may have also hit the truck. The victims were taken from the crash by helicopter to a hospital. The police have not released their conditions.
