Sheriff To Hit The Road Due To New Funding

Williams County Sher­iff Steve Towns announced yes­ter­day that the Ohio Depart­ment of Pub­lic Safety has awarded just under $34,000 in fed­eral traf­fic safety fund­ing to his office for 2016. Based on crash data, there have been 7 fatal crashes in Williams County in 2015 and to help reduce those num­bers, the Sheriff’s Office will be con­duct­ing high vis­i­bil­ity enforcement.
