Shirley Jean Marihugh, age 79, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Twin Rivers Nursing Center in Defiance. Ms Marihugh worked at Campbell’s Soup in Napoleon and Fancy Petals in Defiance. She enjoyed crafting with silk flowers and volunteered at the PATH center in Defiance.
Shirley was born on January 20, 1938, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of Cora Lee (Howe) Wilson.
Shirley was a loving mother of her children, Hugh Whitehead, of Bryan, Sandy Unisko and Cynthia Hauser, both of Defiance; loving grandmother of ten grandchildren, Michelle, Justin, Kaleb, Kipp, Tasha, Julie, Jennifer, Roland, Bobby and Greg and many beloved great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Bobby and Elvis Whitehead and daughter, Lesley Marihugh.
Visitation for Shirley Marihugh will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow visitation with Pastor Janet Strickland officiating.
Memorials may be given to the family.
