Short Car Chase In Coldwater

An Indiana man is facing multiple charges, following an incident in Coldwater. Officers tried to stop a speeding vehicle on northbound I-69 near Fenn Road. The suspect ignored police, then went east on U.S. 12 for about a half mile, crashing into another vehicle…the driver got out and ran away, leaving the car in gear and moving. The trooper pursuing him used his cruiser to stop the suspect’s car and then went after the driver. The man was found in the parking lot of the Tractor Supply store nearby, trying to steal another vehicle. He was taken into custody.
