It’s been six months since the Paulding County Jail has reopened after being shuttered for nearly nine years. County law enforcement officers say they are happy about how things are progressing at the facility. The jail had closed in November 2009, after an operating levy failed to pass. The county had been housing its inmates elsewhere until the jail reopened on June 19.
