Spill Handled Near Edon

More than 100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto the Ohio Turnpike, at the West Gate exit, north of Edon. The Florence Township Fire Department responded with mutual aid from the county’s Hazardous Materials team in Bryan. Firefighters contained it before the materials could make to any water source. An investigation into the incident is underway.
