Sprucing Up Downtown Bryan

County commissioners agreed to spend $13,500 to spruce up the landscaping around the county courthouse. Commissioners accepted a quote from Farrell’s Lawn & Garden Service, of Bryan, for the work around the courthouse square and the bandstand. Work includes removing much of the old landscaping, planting decorative plants and a new maple tree. Commissioners are now considering what will be included in the next phase of work to upgrade the courthouse.
