State of Ohio is pushing for modernized elections

The state of Ohio is pushing for modernized elections and Williams County is expected to accelerate the process. With Ohio Secretary of State John Husted urging county boards of election statewide to implement the use of electronic pollbooks by the end of June, Williams County is looking to have the system in place in time for its May 2 special election. On a related note, the Williams County Board of Elections looks for poll workers all year round. According to board director Mandy Frank, they can always use poll workers.
