State Patrol Investigates Fatal Crash in Fulton County.

The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on US 20 near County Road 7 in Amboy Township, Fulton County. The crash occurred on March 2nd at 3:53 p.m.
A 2007 Peterbilt semi, driven by 34 year old Charles Rose, of Wolcottville, Indiana, was eastbound on US 20. A 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by 78 year old Linda Rufenacht, of Archbold, was westbound on US 20 and drove left of center striking Rose.
Linda Rufenacht was pronounced deceased on scene. Rose claimed no injury. Safety belts were in use at the time of the crash. Impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The roadway was shut down for 4 hours, and is now open.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reminds drivers to look ahead and stay focused on driving, maintain a following distance of at least three seconds, adhere to posted speed limits, always wear a safety belt and never drive impaired.

The crash remains under investigation.
