Drought conditions causing major worries

As the 2026 planting season draws near, Northwest Ohio’s severe drought conditions, which have lasted for almost seven months, are causing major worries for the region’s agriculture sector. The real amount of moisture taken into the ground has been very low, despite the impression of a cold, snowy winter.
