State Patrol Investigates Fatal Crash in Rural Allen County.

The Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle fatal crash which occurred on Defiance Trail near Bloomlock Road in Allen County.
On Sunday, October 5th, at approximately 10:57 A.M. a 2021 Polaris Ranger, operated by 28 year old Rachel A. Berelsman, of Spencerville, was traveling northwest on Defiance Trail and traveled left of the centerline, off the left side of the roadway, and struck a utility pole.
Berelsman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Berelsman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
