Steuben E911 Director Will See More Money

The Steuben County Coun­cil on Tues­day, approved a request to increase the salary of the E911 Direc­tor by $4,000 to $50,197. The approval came just one day after County Com­mis­sion­ers selected a can­di­date for the vacant posi­tion. That per­son has not been pub­licly named yet how­ever, pend­ing the accep­tance of the county’s offer.

While the increase is notable, the posi­tion still pays less than sur­round­ing counties.
