Stolen Truck Leads To Burglary Leads To Stolen Truck Leads To Arrest!

In Auburn, a man was arrested Thursday morning after a vehicle that crashed into a building.

Auburn Police say they found a stolen Ford F-150 Pickup just after midnight in a Kroger parking lot on West Seventh St. in Auburn. The vehicle had been reported stolen Wednesday night.

While investigating the stolen truck, police noticed a broken window at a Subway restaurant in the Kroger Plaza.

That’s when two people came forward and told police that their Toyota Tundra had been stolen from a KFC parking lot.

Then, police got a call about a Toyota Tundra that had crashed into a building on Indiana Avenue.

Police now have a person in custody who they believe was responsible for the theft of the Ford F150.

They say charges for the burglary, stolen Toyota from KFC and the accident are expected to be filed. For now, no names have been released.
