Thirty-three people on Tinora High School’s spring break trip to Germany have had their flight cancelled due to a workers’ strike in Germany.
According to the Crescent News, the group will remain stranded in Frankfort for an extra day after hundreds of flights scheduled at German airports were cancelled when union workers who are rallying for a wage increase, walked off the job.
The school’s weeklong Germany trip includes 21 juniors and seniors, along with10 parents.
