Suzanne M. (Manon) Kimmel, age 68, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 3:29 P.M. on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was a patient. Mrs. Kimmel was a 1965 graduate of Bryan High School and received her associate degree from Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne as a dietician. She was employed by Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan for ten years and then by Cameron Hospital in Angola, Indiana, for five years. From there she went to Lakeland Nursing Home in Angola, Indiana, retiring in 1996. She was a forty-two-year member of Bryan Chapter #248, Order of the Eastern Star.
Suzanne M. (Manon) Kimmel was born on July 5, 1947, in Bryan, the daughter of Thayne E. and Janice E. (Morley) Manon. Survivors include her mother, Janice Manon, of Bryan; one son, Scott “Boom” Cannon, of Bryan; two grandchildren, Kelli Ann and Cody Cannon; and three brothers, Mike (Gail) Manon, of Evansport, Ohio, Jerry (Jill) Manon, of Bryan, and Larry (Brenda) Manon, of Ayersville, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with an Eastern Star service at 7:30 P.M. Services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Jan Pannell officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
Memorials are requested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
