Another General Motors recall for airbags. This time GM is recalling 200,000 Saturn and Saab cars in the US and Canada to replace the Takata driver’s airbag inflator, which can explode with too much force and hurl metal shrapnel into drivers and passengers. At least 10 people have died worldwide, and about 140 have been injured. The GM recall includes the Saab 9-3 from 2003 to 2011 and Saab 9-5 from 2010 to 2011. Also included in the recall is the Saturn Astra 2008 and 2009 model years. Owners will get letters notifying them of the recalls.
