Tax Levy Questions To Appear On Defiance County Ballots

In Defi­ance County, vot­ers in four town­ships will see requests on their bal­lots for new taxes. Two will be for fire/EMS ser­vice and two oth­ers will look for money for road and bridge main­te­nance.

Defi­ance and Mil­ford town­ships need the money for fire/EMS ser­vice con­tracts with other polit­i­cal sub­di­vi­sions while Mil­ford and Noble town­ships are seek­ing pas­sage of new tax­a­tion for road and bridge repairs.
